In The Drake Hotel’s Cape Cod the décor is vintage and the seafood sublime. Consistently named one of America’s finest dining spots since 1933, this cozy, well-proportioned restaurant features an oyster bar and boasts fresh seafood from the Atlantic and Pacific.
The Cape Cod, inducted into the Fine Dining Hall of Fame by Nation’s Restaurant News, has been open daily since 1933.
Since its opening many great people have left their mark on the Cape Cod. To this day, visitors may see the initials of Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio carved into the world famous wooden bar.
Become part of our history. Book your next group of 20 or more and we will present you with a paddle for your signatures. After the dinner, the paddle will be displayed in the lounge area where visitors will be able to view for generations to come.
The Cape Cod cares about the health of our oceans. Therefore, we've proudly partnered with the Shedd Aquarium to support sustainable seafood serving as a conservation leader in Chicago and the world.
