Overnight Parking guests that want to pay for their parking at the hotel or charge it to their rooms will bring their parking tickets from the 900 Building to the front desk and in return receive a “in and out” white plastic parking card that will be valid for as many days that they are paying/charging their rooms for. They will bring this card to the parking garage and use it as their “in and out” card. This card will be branded for The Drake in the future.
The Drake suggests guests drop off their luggage before they proceed and park their cars. We do not have bellman/porterage service from the mall to the Hotel.

Transportation From Airport
All major city transportation facilities serve the hotel. Frequent bus, taxi, and limousine service is available from O’Hare and Midway airports and train stations.

Event Parking
Event Parking will also be available for a discounted rate – of $20 for up to 2 hrs and $25 for up to 6 hrs. To take advantage of this the guest needs to get a “chaser” ticket that Sales/Catering/Events and the Front desk will have available. The guest will follow these instructions to get take advantage of the special Event Self Parking Rates:
1. Insert your entry ticket with the ticket face up and mag-stripe to the right into one of the pay stations located at the Walton or Delaware lobbies.
2. Wait for the price to display on screen
3. Insert your discounted chaser ticket into the same slot as your entry ticket. The chaser ticket should be face up with the mag-stripe to the right.
4. Wait for your new price to display on screen
5. Insert cash or credit card
6. After payment has been confirmed, retrieve paid ticket from pay station. You will need this ticket to exit the garage
7. Press the assistance button for any questions.
All discounted Event Self Parking will be paid at the 900 Building garage in their machines or to their attendant. The hotel will not take payment for any discounted Event Self Parking. There will not be any separate discounted Restaurant Parking other than the current $13/3 hrs validated Valet Parking.
