After an extensive and expensive rennovation effort by Hilton, the Drake has re established itself as the hotel of Chicago.

We live here in Chicago, but each year we take a little getaway on Valentine’s Day to stay at The Drake. It’s so special and this year really exceeded our expectations! Thank you to the Drake staff for making our little getaway so special and memorable!

What a wonderful experience. The “old charm” of Chicago is offered generously here at The Drake. My wife and I have lived in Chicago for over a decade, and this is our first visit (our anniversary). What a wonderful hotel! The staff are super, so down-to-earth, helpful and not at all pompous. It is refreshing to stay in such an old world hotel, which is beautiful, with a modern attitude. In all the hotels I have stayed in America, this is my favorite, and I’ve been spreading the word at home! You have an amazing hotel here, with fantastic staff. Keep up the good work!

This was one of the best weekend getaways we’ve had. Fun from start to finish. Had guests come for special dinner and the staff made them feel welcome and special. Food was great in the Cape Cod Room. Love the Coq d’Or. My grandmother, mother and aunt stayed here in the 50s—same aunt joined us for dinner—very nostalgic. I plan to bring our daughters here as the next generation to stay at this great hotel.
