Amanda Crumley
Vocalist and songwriter Amanda Crumley relishes in keeping her spectrum wide so as to keep the inspirational door ajar and let in all of the good stuff.
With an intuitive command of subtle intricacies of the samba and bossa nova, she is equally adept when creating swinging interpretations of jazz standards.
A recent recipient of a CAAP grant from the Illinois Arts Council for her bluegrass project, Amanda is currently hard at work on her first CD. Additionally, she performs with the acclaimed vocal band, “Stripped,” and continues to be active as a music educator and choral musician.
She is indubitably excited to be collaborating with guitarist John Kregor every Sunday at the Coq D’Or.
Elizabeth Doyle
Elizabeth Doyle recently a featured guest on legendary Marian McPartland’s NPR show “Piano Jazz, was the magnet for many years at Chicago’s famed Pump Room. As a composer, she is an award winning ASCAP member with musicals "Fat Tuesday," "Alice In Analysis", "The Virginian" and "Sleepy Hollow" produced in California and the Midwest. Her chamber work has been performed in Amsterdam and heard on Dutch radio. A 2007 After Dark Award recipient for cabaret performance, she was heard at Davenport’s in “Hot Jazz Euro Style” last November. Recent performances include CCP Drury Lane shows, “Hollywood Blondes” at New York’s Metropolitan Room, “Dakota Blonde: The Lyrics of Peggy Lee” at Skokie Theatre, “LeGrand Night” and “Let’s Duet” at the Wilmette Theatre and a Paris debut last May. Alison Ruble
Alison Ruble is a dynamic performer. She has established a reputation in jazz circles as a versatile vocalist with a warm, engaging sound and a respected bandleader with acclaimed groups.
Her style and repertoire give a generous nod to the classic jazz standards, but also incorporate more modern strains, producing a poignant blend of music that is at once, familiar and surprising.
In the summer of 2008, she headlined at the 30th Annual Chicago Jazz Festival to a capacity crowd in Chicago’s Grant Park. She made her New York debut at Jazz at Lincoln Center in 2006 as a featured performer in the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s 21st Anniversary Cabaret Celebration. Since arriving on the Chicago jazz scene in 2001, she has performed regularly at top jazz clubs, including the Green Mill Jazz Club, Andy’s Jazz Club, Pops For Champagne, Pete Miller’s, The Pump Room; as well as special performances at Chicago’s Peninsula, Ritz-Carlton and Drake Hotels. As a featured soloist, she has performed on the NBC, ABC and WGN-TV networks and starred with the world-renowned Jazz Ambassadors Big Band. Her critically acclaimed debut release, This Is A Bird (Origin Records), brings together some of the Chicago music scene’s most forward thinking players for a set of re-envisioned jazz standards.
Robin Lukas

Craig Lanigan
The Drake Hotel welcomes back pianist Craig Lanigan to the Coq d’Or Lounge. He took a leave of absence at the end of 2005 after being mobilized from the US Army Reserve and serving a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Previously, Craig had partnered up with vocalist Arlene Bardelle and they enjoyed an almost six year run together at the Coq d’Or. After a sixteen month military tour, Craig returned safely to his two children; Julia and Myles in 2007. After a long summer's rest and a lot of practicing at home, he returned to music at Jay’s Amore (now called Valenti’s) at 1330 W. Madison Avenue, Chicago.
Now in his second run at the Drake, Craig has performed with many fine vocalists: Kerri Johnsrud, Sean Harris, Gina Gibson, Michelle Thomas, Arlene Bardelle and Elaine Dane. Please stop in Thursday and Friday evenings from 9:00 pm -1:00 pm and enjoy his unique piano sound.
Paul Marinaro
Since moving to Chicago in 2003, Paul Marinaro has quickly made a name for himself, becoming one of the most in-demand male vocalists, having performed in the best venues, working alongside the top musicians, and having gained the respect of audiences and critics alike throughout the city. 
Through his performances, Paul has the ability to melt your heart and possesses a sincerity that touches an audience, making for a heartfelt and unique musical experience.
