The Drake Welcomes the Waldorf Astoria to Chicago
The Waldorf Astoria opens on Walton St.
While many people associate the name “Waldorf Astoria” with the famed hotel in New York City, there are actually many more of these legendary hotels than people realize. Conceptualized as one of the 10 brands within the Hilton Hotels family of brands, there are actually 27 Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in operation, all representing the unique service experience that is known worldwide from the hotel’s flagship hotel in NYC. The latest addition to this brand is the Waldorf Astoria Chicago, located at 111 E. Walton Street, formerly the Elysian Hotel. This hotel which houses 118 rooms is a wonderful addition to Hilton brand of hotels in the Chicagoland area. The Waldorf Astoria Chicago features a spa, fitness center, indoor pool, business center, 2 restaurants (Ria & Balsan) and Bernard’s Bar as well as meeting and event space for corporate or catering functions.
